Julien Malaurent

Julien Malaurent is currently Associate Professor in the IDS department, and serves as Academic Director for the (online) Executive Master in Digital Transformation. He is also in charge, jointly with Prof. Guillaume Chevillon, of the Metalab.
Julien’s research projects are based on qualitative approaches (case study and action research), and address issues related to the work practices of users embedded in multi-cultural context, digital ubiquity, digital transformation at both the organizational and societal levels. In terms of methodology and epistemology, Julien’s research projects stress the importance of reflexivity toward the use of theoretical framework and interpretation empirical datasets.
Thomas Kude

Thomas Kude is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at ESSEC Business School. In his research, he is interested in the development and application of information systems at various levels of analysis.
His recent research has primarily focused on digital innovation produced by collectives of organizations and individuals. For example, he has studied the governance and evolution of digital platforms and ecosystems in different domains, including enterprise software and mobile apps. He has also studied collaboration in teams, in particular software development teams.
His work has appeared or is forthcoming in various IS journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Information Systems Journal.

Associate professor in the Management Department of ESSEC Business School, Sen Chai studies the entire developmental course of creative innovations from idea conception to commercialization, with the goal of helping managers and policymakers avoid failures, better support innovation and increase their organization’s chances of creating and financing commercially successful ideas.
Hugues Bouthinion-Dumas

Ph.D in Law. Dr Hugues Bouthinon-Dumas is an associate professor in ESSEC’s Public and Private Policy department. His research topics cover fields such as company law, corporate governance and regulation of markets.
Jeroen Rombouts

Ph.D. In Econometrics, CORE, Universite Catholique de Louvain. Currently CORE research associate and Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute. Joined ESSEC in 2013 and formerly professor at HEC Montreal (2004-2012).
Professor Jeroen VK Rombouts joined ESSEC Business School in January 2013. He combines rich data sets with statistical tools to answer financial questions. His research outcomes are published in international peer reviewed journals. He teaches courses of Basic Statistics and Econometrics in the Master and PhD programs. He has been Visiting Scholar at several universities (University of Pittsburg, Tilburg University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Aarhus University (CREATES) and CORE as a research associate among others). He is an expert consultant in financial econometrics and macro-economic forecasting. Prior to joining ESSEC Business School, Jeroen was Associate Professor at HEC Montreal (2004-2012)

David Autissier

After many experiences as IT project manager, David Autissier became Professor at the University of Paris XII in 1998. He received a PhD in Management from Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
Expert in Change Management, he worked for many major companies helping them to build their change strategy. David Autissier is teaching management and change management at ESSEC Business School and his academic work concentrates on fostering the capabilities that influence a company’s ability to change.
